Bi-fold Brochures
Bi-fold brochures are found among us every day: they are one of the most common brochure types. These brochures are economical to print since they are usually a double A4 print folded in half. This folding forms 4 panels: a front-cover, a back-cover and two internal panels. However, there are other configurations: 8-page, 12-page, 16-page and so on.

The front panel works as the front-page, and its main purpose is to introduce the piece and to cause the necessary intrigue or impact to make the viewer want to open it and read the contents. The inside panels are usually reserved for content, while the back-cover is used for contact information; of course this can change.

They are more formal than tri-fold brochures, and are intended for product presentations, catalogues, institutional introductions, etc. Bi-fold brochures can also work as folders in which you can place inserts depending on the prospective interests: this is ideal for trade shows, for example. Large bi-fold brochures have a long lifetime, and are usually read in more detail than small tri-folds.

Our fees include all you will need for getting a professional brochure design: unlimited consultation, graphic design, pre-press and delivery of final files ready for printing, plus all copyrights of the final piece.

Tri-fold Brochures
Tri-fold brochures are one of the most common brochures. They are thin and convenient to carry and tempt viewers to open it as they cause intrigue. These brochures are economical to print since they are basically standard-sized prints (usually A4) on light stocks that are folded in three. They have 6 panels to place information on, which is an advantage over other types of brochures.

However, this is not always true: the tri-fold morphology adapts to larger brochures. In these cases, they usually have triple or double-A4 pages, and the stock used is of higher quality.

Viewers are tempted to open these kinds of brochures, as they cause intrigue. So, they are suitable for designs of good impact. They are intended to be handed over to people: ideal to put in folders, or as a more elegant alternative to the flyer in trade shows.

Gate-fold Brochures
Gate-fold brochures are not very common; this is why they produce great impact when they are appropriately used. These brochures are usually large and costly, so they are intended for high-impacting marketing.

The standard gate-fold brochure is a quad-A4 page folded in four which results in 8 panels: 1 front panel, 1 back panel, and 6 internal panels; however, this configuration can be changed. The most interesting feature of this type of brochure is that they arrange very wide graphs.

These brochures are usually printed in high-quality paper to ensure a long lifetime and that it will reach the hands of the target audience. Viewers tend to keep them for more time than other brochures, which increases the public awareness of the brand and allows the possibility of being handed over to other people in case the first person is not interested in the contents. They are excellent for the presentation of institutions, companies and high-end products and services.

Z-fold Brochures
This is the alternative to tri-fold brochures. They are very similar in terms of cost and in the impact they have. Z-fold brochures are used when the flow of the reading adapts better to this structure. They can adapt to small or large paper sizes. As tri-fold brochures, viewers are most likely to open this kind of brochure, as they cause intrigue when closed.
